8 Things That I Love!
Dec. 13th, 2010 11:05 pmI was just recently (as in 10 minutes ago) inspired by this video:
I am a huge vlogbrothers fan and a Nerdfighter. Besides that, I decided that I want to write down a few things that I currently love.

1. Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. I just finished reading this book. I was inspired first by seeing the movie trailer, which was quite mysterious. The book was lovely, haunting, and thought-provoking. I can't wait to read it again and see the movie!
2. Mary VanGils artwork / YouTube. I've only seen one of her videos, but I like how she incorporates media, specifically YouTube, with her approach to art. It's a great way to show her work to a variety of audiences.
3. Etsy.com - I spend a ton of time on this website!
4.
This statue. I want to do a painting of it. It's called "The Little Mermaid," and anyone who knows me personally understands my love for that story. This statue has captured my heart.
5. Vanilla Carmel Truffle Tea. Need I say more?
6. This oil paint:

This is the first brand of oil paint that I bought for my 101 Painting class, and it has been wonderful. I would recommend these to beginners, because they are affordable and work well.
7. The Vulgate I received as a graduation gift.
8. For my beading needs, I like Fusionbeads.com. I'm still very much a student in terms of both painting and also jewelry making. However, this site has been wonderful in helping me get my feet off the ground.
